FinCalcy ("we", "our", or "the app") is a free, offline finance calculator app built for Indian users. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect (and don't collect), how the app works, and your rights as a user.
2 Information We Do NOT Collect
FinCalcy is designed with privacy by default. We do not collect:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Financial data entered into calculators (income, loans, investments, tax details)
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Browsing or search history
3 How the App Works
- Fully offline — FinCalcy does not require an internet connection. All calculations are performed locally on your device.
- No account required — There is no sign-up, login, or user account of any kind.
- Local storage only — Calculation history is saved on your device and never leaves it.
- No tracking SDKs — We do not integrate analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs that collect user data.
4 Permissions
FinCalcy does not request any sensitive device permissions. The app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or files.
5 Children's Privacy
FinCalcy does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, the app is safe for all age groups.
6 Third-Party Services
FinCalcy does not use any third-party services that collect personal data. There is no integration with advertising networks, social media platforms, or analytics providers.
7 Data Security
Since no personal or financial data is transmitted to any server, there is no risk of a data breach on our end. Data you enter into the app stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
8 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
